Guss Pickles goes to Brooklyn

The New York Times has a story on Guss Pickles leaving the Lower East Side. No Bernstein's-on-Essex. No pickle stores. Kossar's bialies mere shadows of their former oniony glory (although their onion pletzl is still great).

My stomach no longer recognizes the neighborhood.
