Neo-Nazi murder suspect "escapes" Russian custody

A neo-Nazi suspected of ten murders in Moscow escaped from custody, according to an October 23, 2008 article in the national daily "Kommersant." On October 20, police escorted Vasily Krivetz to the site where he allegedly murdered a Jewish violinist so that he could show them exactly how and where he killed his victim. Despite the fact that he was handcuffed, Mr. Krivetz managed to escape and has yet to be found. Investigators brought negligence charges against one of the officers.
