Am I alone in thinking that the photo chosen to illustrate Stephen Walt's column on Obama's Cairo speech is idiotic? In this day and age, why would anyone choose a black-hat Orthodox man to represent the entire Jewish community ? Either Walt's idea of what a Jew looks like is hopelessly antique, or he believes his readship's is.
