Today, September 11, Al-Qaeda is distributing a video on the Islamist websites with the recorded last will and testament of Abu Mus'ab Walid Al-Shehry, one of the 19 September 11 attackers, with an audio introduction by Osama bin Laden.
In his introduction, bin Laden praises Al-Shehry, describing him as a hero who was influenced by Koran verses as the first Muslims were, and as someone who had tasted the taste of true freedom.
Bin Laden said that Al-Shehry had lived in a era when the influence of the Jews and the Christians had intensified and the value of the Muslims had fallen, to the point where the Muslims had become the tail of the nations and their rulers had become the servants of the Christian masters.
He added that Al-Shehry and his brothers had sacrificed their own lives so that the word of Allah would be supreme, thus paving the way for the men of Islam, the most prominent of whom was Abu Mus'ab Al-Zarqawi.
Bin Laden then called on all young Muslims to join the convoy of the jihad, to victory, and concluded by saying, "Now, we will hear the will." Al-Shehry then appears onscreen.
