Chilling to have been so close and yet so...Crikey. Chilling to have been so close and yet so unaware of what must have been going on in your neighbourhood.

Those dreams are interesting. They remind me of my own after spending time in Paris imagining Swaztikas over the Eiffel Tower and the Louvre and then at night walking in my dreams with the souls from the death-camps.

I had been on holiday in the weeks before 911, driving through Florida and near Washington, NewYork etc. all places where the hijackers must have been. That was close enough to feel that retrospective chill.

I flew out a few days before 911, and as I hate flying it had occurred to me how the plane could be flown into a skyscraper. It certainly wasn't something no-one could imagine - I had thought it, just days before.

Lori mentions PTSD, something I think must have effected most all of us, even watching 000s of miles away on the box. It was like a mass-hypnosis through trauma. I suspect recounting your memories will help.the_last_name_lefthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12276770064991215910noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4718120950252476804.post-15181155179399819022011-09-11T15:55:57.666-04:002011-09-11T15:55:57.666-04:00Hi Adam,
Since you asked for feedback... I like yo...Hi Adam,
Since you asked for feedback... I like your writing very much and am finding your 9/11 stories well worth reading. Please continue. I think the nightmares you had could be classified as a mild form of PTSD. Even out here safe in California I couldn't close my eyes for 2 weeks or so without literally seeing images of those buildings falling. What I really hate the most is the aftermath of the USA becoming more divided, which is of course the exact goal our loathsome attackers had in mind.lorri666https://www.blogger.com/profile/16340847885433918229noreply@blogger.com
